I’m pleased to share my new article in FFI Practitioner, “Advisor Development That Lasts: Aligning Culture, Coaching, and Collaboration.”
The piece grew out of conversations with wealth management and multifamily office leaders about a practical question: why does coaching sometimes fail to produce lasting change?
Coaching can be valuable. It becomes much more durable when the surrounding system supports development through clear expectations, meaningful responsibility, useful feedback, engaged sponsorship, and collaborative structures that help advisors practice judgment in real client work.
The core argument is simple: development is a system.
