Helping Families Make Better Decisions Together

A wealth advisor recently put a common challenge very clearly:

“I often know when a family could benefit from facilitation. The harder part is knowing how to introduce the idea in a way the family will embrace.”

Many advisors face this.

They recognize when the technical advice is no longer the bottleneck, but they hesitate because they don't want the family to feel judged, labeled, or handed off.

That hesitation makes sense. The way facilitation is introduced often determines whether the family experiences it as support or criticism.

I put together this short field guide for wealth advisors on introducing facilitation as added structure for an important decision, rather than as a diagnosis of the family.

I’m sharing the field guide here. I also have a longer practical toolkit with sample advisor language, client questions, and situation-specific examples.

Message me if that would be useful.
